நோயுற்றோர் அனைவரும் இயேசுவைத் தொடவேண்டுமென்று இயேசுவின்மீது விழுந்துகொண்டிருந்த இந்த நற்செய்தி காட்சியிலும் இதே உணர்வு வெளிப்படுவதைக் காண்கிறோம்.பெருங்கூட்டம் இயேசுவின் மேல் விழுந்து அவரைத் தொட்டது. தொட்ட யாவரும் எல்லாவித நோயிலிருந்தும் குணமடைந்தனர். இயேசுவைத் தொட்ட யாவரும் குணமடைந்தனர். 'அப்பெண் இயேசுவுக்குப் பின்னால் வந்து அவரது மேலுடையின் ஓரத்தைத் தொட்டார்" (லூக் 8 :44) இயேசு தொட்ட அனைவரும் குணமடைந்தனர். "இயேசு அவரது கையைத் தொட்டதும் காய்ச்சல் அவரை விட்டு நீங்கிற்று"(மத்8 :15) "அவரைத் தொட்டு, "நான் விரும்புகிறேன், உமது நோய் நீங்குக!" (மத் 8 :3)" கண்களைத் தொட்டு, "நீங்கள் நம்பியபடியே உங்களுக்கு நிகழட்டும்"(மத் 9 :29)அவர்களைத் தொட்டு," எழுந்திருங்கள், அஞ்சாதீர்கள்"(மத் 17 :7, மத் 20 :34) நாம் அவரைத் தொட்டாலும் அவர்நம்மைத் தொட்டாலும் நாம் அதன் பலனைப் பெறுகிறோம்.
கைகளால் இயேசுவைத் தொடும்போதும், செபத்தில் இதயத்தில் இயேசுவைத் தொடும்போதும், நற்கருணை வாங்கும்போது இயேசுவைத் தொடும்போதும் இயேசுவின் தெய்வீக ஆற்றல் இங்கு பரிமாறப்படுகிறது. அது உணவாகிறது, மருந்தாகிறது. நாம் நலமடைகிறோம்,வலுவடைகிறோம்.
இயேசுவைத் தொடுவோம். இயேசு நம்மைத் தொடும் நிலையில் வைத்துக்கொள்வோம். வாழ்த்துக்கள். ஆசீர்;.

Your reflections on touch in general and Jesus' touches during his life in particular makes an inspiring reading.
It is a much needed correction on many of us who think JESUS was a sort of statue of wood, roaming about in Jerusalem.
In fact I believe that human touch of all varieties is an imperfect versions that point to the best and the most perfect touch of GOD.
Nature's beauty is His touch.
Our sages and poets of all Faiths are His touches.
Our parents and teaches - friends and relatives - are His touches too.
Benevolent economics and community-building politics are touches.
Then again, Christ is God's extended touch on us.
The Church is ideally His touch for us.
The Sacraments and the sacramentals are the same too.
In fact, the Christian conception of God is precisely as SOMEONE who longs to "touch" humanity in mercy forever.
When one person arches forward to do a charitable act toward a needy brother or a sister, is that not but the touch of GOD?
Who inspires such an action - finally?
When hands dare to break the rules and hearts march on to tear apart barriers to build bridges, bringing women and men together as one large tent of the Lord, the touch of God is alive and active.
You sign off as "Kalai" and "Giana".
Is that not such a great thing?
When "wisdom" and "artistry" wed, it's God's touch too - to heal us and make us feel well.
